These notes are part of a Short-Course prepared for YPF geoscientists in charge of the remnannt hydrocarbon potential of the Argentina sedimentary basins (mainly onshore) composing the different geographic basins. After an Introduction, the following basins are roughy investigated : (i) Paleozoic Basin (South Bolivia) ; (ii) Cretaceous-Salta Basin ; (iii) Cuyo Basin : (iv) Neuquén Basin ; (v) Claromeco Basin ; (vi) Colorado Basin ; (vii) Rawson basin ; (viii) San Jorge Basin ; (ix) Austral Basin (Santa Cruz Basin) ; (x) Malvinas Basin ; (xi) Deep Offshore Basins. Salado basin and the northern offshore of Argnetina will described with the Uruguay offshore (see notes in Uruguay Offshore). Obviously, for confidential reasons, a lot of conjectures are not expressed on these notes)
